Adhiroha Yoga Teacher Training Ashram in Rishikesh

One of the best yoga teacher training school in Rishikesh. I completed my 200 Hour YTTC. Ashram location is absolutely peaceful, away from the noisy town. Teaching quality is exceptionally great. The stay and food is amazing. The overall ambience is very soothing and high in energy of this place. Will recommend to people if you are looking for a serious yoga school. Om Namah Shivaya.

Aum namaha shivaya I had a great stay at Adhiroha. The place is beautiful, well maintained and the staff are always smiling and helpful. I was made to feel very welcome, and likewise throughout my stay. I did the 200-hour yoga teacher training course with very high quality teachers who taught me a lot! So I thank them too. Adhiroha is uptown, so it's closer to nature. It's much quieter than in the city center, restful and soothing. I was able to see a lot of animals like peacocks, monkeys, squirrels and many other birds! There's a nice waterfall not far from the ashram! I 100% recommend this place for training. I think it's the best yoga school in rishikesh !!

Their thoughtful approach, prioritizing my well-being with food and quiet time before any formalities, immediately set the tone for the entire month. This training exceeded my expectations on every level: * Teachers: Exceptionally knowledgeable and deeply rooted in authentic yoga principles, focusing on the holistic lifestyle beyond just asana. I truly appreciated learning the profound values of yoga and how to integrate the Yamas and Niyamas into daily life. The well-structured schedule offered a perfect balance of practice, theory, and mindful breaks. * Location: Ideally situated near the city yet offering a serene escape, the beautiful gardens teeming with local wildlife (monkeys, squirrels, rabbits, butterflies!) provided a tranquil and inspiring environment. * Staff: The friendly and attentive staff consistently went above and beyond to meet my needs while respecting my personal space - a perfect balance of support. * Rooms: Simple but comfortable, providing everything I needed. The clean shower, secure storage, and comfortable pillows were particularly appreciated. I didn't even need the AC option. * Atmosphere: The overall vibe was genuinely honest, peaceful, and yet invigorating - a truly wonderful place to be. Highly recommended! * Food: The chef's delicious and well-balanced meals were a highlight, and his friendly demeanor added to the positive experience.

I attended the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The place is surrounded by greenery, just a few steps from the river -- peaceful, quiet, and perfect for practice and self-connection. The maintenance team was amazing: always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. My room was always clean, a bit humid at times, but overall we spent 20 peaceful and fulfilling days. The teachers were very skilled, caring, and supportive throughout the whole journey. A beautiful place that truly deserves to be experienced -- I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic yoga and personal growth retreat.

Completed my Sound Healing TTC at Adhiroha, a truly healing journey guided by Megha's calm and grounded presence. Our small group practice amidst the forest and the sound of the flowing river, where nature itself became part of the healing. Each vibration, each silence, felt like the earth and water were teaching us how to listen again.

I just completed my 200 hours YTTC. What a wonderful place! If you want to learn authentic yoga, learn discipline and live in beautiful nature, don't hestitate to come to Adhiroha. The teachers are the best, staff is amazing, food incredible, rooms very well equipped and clean. Simply amazing!

Namaskaram Adhiroha - 'to rise above' I haven't rise but for sure Adhiroha showed me the path and the tools how to do it. Their passion for what they are doing motivated me to keep going. True and knowledgeable teachers gives me strength to practice. Staff showed me there is no EGO around, there are here to support you and help you with dedication. Food: real satvik diet. Freshly cooked three times a day. I m grateful for showing me diet is perfect for my body and mind. I felt light and I digested food very quickly. Their diet is strict so don't expect burgers. You can always support yourself with protein powder, nuts or seeds if their diet is not enough. Rooms: cleaned every day. Thank you for that! You have your personal space to put your belongings. There was issue in my room with smell coming out from bathroom but they were working hard to fix it. Is better now. Location: Nature! Nature! Nature! Peace and Calmness. Overall experience: if you want to change something in your life doesn't really matter if you practicing yoga or not. I think this place is good for everybody. Of course again if you want to change. Coming here you need to leave your expectations and EGO outside otherwise you will not experience the changes within you. If I will have to do it again I will definitely choose Adhiroha! I absolutely loved my 200-hour training at Adhiroha! The ashram has such a beautiful and peaceful vibe -- you instantly feel at home. The stay was super comfortable, and the food was just amazing: healthy, tasty, and full of good energy. The teachers are the heart of this place -- so knowledgeable, patient, and inspiring. They really take the time to guide you, answer your questions, and help you grow at your own pace. This course deepened my practice in ways I didn't expect. It helped me build confidence, improve my teaching, and connect more deeply with the real meaning of yoga. I'll always be grateful for my time here.
